I started Fat Secret over 10 years ago, and I have learned so much about health and nutrition in that time. The most valuable lesson has been “all things in moderation”. Food is fuel but we are human, so pleasure also has to be a consideration. The best diet philosophy I have found is to “Eat the rainbow” that is my best take on eating well. (https://nutritionkey.com/guide-rainbow-diet/) Limit animal products and eat clean. I don’t eat processed food or refined sugar. There is a price for Convenience when it comes to diet. I have learned that a piece of fruit is an easy convenient food and is nutritious and can be eaten virtually anywhere. Nuts and Seeds are another quick fix. Fruit Smoothies can also be a lifesaver. I am drinking a Pineapple Smoothie 1 C frozen Pineapple, 2 cups of ice, and 1 C of your choice of Milk i.e. cow, soy, almond, etc... add enough water so it allows you to pore it into your container, add a few drops of minimally processed Stevia if needed. 1 cup of fruit goes a long way in the flavor department and it's a fabulous way to keep hydrated. So these are a few of the takeaways I have gotten from this journey and I know it's helped me and I’m so very grateful. Please don't get caught up on a media-hyped up diet! There is no replacement for eating nutritionally, and, exercising to keep healthy and fit.
