Okay so here is the deal. I decided that I would record my food intake on every day except on Saturday's as it is my one day off. Though I have made a packed with myself, that even though I am not recording my food, it does not give me permission to go hog wild!! The one thing I did notice today is that my soda intake has increased. I'm an under some stress today, and I noticed that I was drinking more of it. Its interesting to me that I feel bad about drinking it, but only because it is posted for everyone to see!! Maybe this will work out for me after all!!

So I was thinking of trying to track my food. I started today and I hope to remember to continue. I also have decided to try the challenge of not drinking soda. I have in the past used soda as my main consumption of liquids, but over the past few years I have weened myself down to 2-3 cans a day and at least 60 ounces of water. The biggest problem that I have is I like the way that it tastes and I feel that I need to caffeine boost. Plus I do not drink coffee or tea, as I do not like the taste of them. So here goes to trying.
My husband and I just completed Chalean Extreme and are moving on to Turbo Fire. Then when we are finished with the turbo fire I hope to combine the two. He would like to try P90X, but I have to say that I am very intimidated by the infomercial for it. Since I am still very heavy its hard to get myself up off the ground, but I still try with the turbo fire each day.

So I have figured out that keeping any kind of journal is just not for me. I have tried to be diligent, however I have failed miserably. I have been working out at least 5 days a week and I have been eating smaller food portions. I found a good work out partner in my 14 year old daughter. We have been kickin' it up with turbo Kick or Chalean Extreme. It is the most enjoyable to have to push her and then have her push me. We have really created a good system. another thing I have been trying is a tracking sheet that I made for both her and I so we can mark down the days that we have worked out. I know that its just a piece of paper, but when I look at back at the previous week and I see all the check marks I sure feel really good about myself!!
