Today I was thinking of some of the "crazy" weight loss methods I had heard of through the internet and other sources i.e wiring your mouth shut, swallowing tapeworms and the like. I found that I and many others often look down on these people and tend to judge them as crazy or at the very least looking for the easy way out. I thought about my own weight loss journey and think these people were not lazy or crazy just desperate souls looking for a way...any way, as we all do to fit into society and be heathy. Granted these were not healthy methods but to the mind of a desperate person anything is better then the present state of affairs.
Scientists have now discovered what they call the skinny gene how very nice it must be for those in society that have this Predisposition. We all know this person, who eats whatever they want and never gains or loses whatever was gained easily. I am not bitter though this may sound as if it is going in that direction. I just wonder what it must be like for those to whom such things come so easily. I look at my image in the mirror and frown, like those who took the tapeworm I just want to be more, more then our society alots to those of us who are considered unfit.
The prejudice directed at "fat people" is clearly the last great cism where people who are lacking in empathy and understanding can find a safe haven despite the research that shows we are more then the decisions we make in our dietary choices. I know this does not excuse my decisions it does however mean we have to work that much harder to be accepted and to more importantly be healthy. It takes a tremendous amount of strength and mental fortitude to fight your own bodies programming. To all of you who struggle take courage and know that all of us here share your battle and we are stronger because of our fight.

I have been inspired to start a challange! I have some ideas but then I thought hey why not poll my friends and see what they would really like to see in a challange? Soo what are the top one or two things you all would most like to see in a challange?

1 am at 43% water this morning is it just me or does that seem high? If not why so high I used to average half of that.
