I almost couldn't believe it whenow I got on the scale this morning! Praise God! I tried to get on yesterday to journal, but children... lol. But Tuesday I had a gigantic victory, I was eating a burger and fries, and I all of a sudden got this really full, you don't want to eat any more of this feeling. I even tried to ignore it at first, and took a few more bites, but just couldnt eat anymore. So I stopped, half way through my plate. And didn't take any cheescake my daughter had made the day before for dessert. Last week there was pumpkin pie in the fridge for 4 days without me eating it, because I just wasn't in the mood, not because I couldnt. Is this still me? And there is one of those chocolate dipped ice cream cones in the freezer, my favorite. I was almost trying to talk myself into yesterday, and I'm allowed to have it, but I just didn't want it. It feels so freeing! I know this is all God's work, because none of this is natural to me.

And on another huge victory, after almost a month of Pilates I can touch my toes. I was the kid in gym class that when we had to do testing, they would make you try to touch your toes and measure how far you could reach, I was always humiliated because I couldn't come close. While it seemed almost everyone else could do it easily. So touching my toes is a serious win!

The weight loss is great, but the rest is even better! God bless you all, I pray you have a wonderful day.

it feels so good to see the scale going down. I feel thinner too, clothes are fitting better. I've been exercising daily doing pilates with 1 rest day, only missing one day for 3 weeks now. I decided if I was going to do it, it has to be a priority. So no matter whays going on, about 4 when the baby has hopefully decided to nap, it's time to exercise, then I can make dinner. It's working, and I love it. I am stronger again already, and more flexible.

I've spent the a lot of time in prayer over my issues with eating, and God has really been revealing to me my issues as well as why it is so important to take care of my body. I feel renewed. Last time I lost lots of weight food was an obsession! I spent so much time thinking about it. Right now it's only in thought when it comes to what to make for dinner. It's so freeing. I still don't do perfectly, yesterday I ate far too much, I was exhausted after too many nights of bad sleep, and I realize that's a trigger I have to be careful of. And be really strict with myself those days.

things have been so busy! I've been trying to cut down on portions, realizing maybe I'm eating more than I realize, trying to eat only until I'm full. That's hard for me! If it's in front of me I want to eat it all! Plus I have a hard time being able to actually tell if I'm full. I've been trying to eat with more presence, eating slowly, and enjoying each bite of my food more. I've been doing better about only eating when I'm hungry. Trying not to snack when the kids are, or eat while cooking, or while putting away food. I'm starting to see all the hidden places where I eat but don't really think about it. The scale is finally starting to go down, which feels great.

My tenth anniversary is in 3 months and a week, I really feel motivated to lose a good amount to of weight by then! I was tempted to go on a crazy diet, and try to lose 30 lbs by then, not that it's impossible, but I have commited to not jumping on a diet I can not sustain, and doing this by changing my relationship with food, so I am resisting this temptation. It's surprisingly hard!
