Losing weight has not been a top priority for me lately. I am still trying to weigh in and log in my food and be mindful of what I eat though. I've been so busy and preoccupied. I do want to stop eating out - would make it much easier to monitor calories! Again,I ate more yesterday and lost. I need to be consistent in exercising daily. It's just so hot and when I am home I think of everything else that needs to be done. I hope to renew my gym membership soon. Working out away from home would be best for now I think.

I haven't weighed in a few days. Actually, I was thinking I would just weigh-in once a week, on Wednesday (the day I started). But since I hadn't in a few days, figured I might as well. Gained .6. After a very bad weekend, I am not surprised. And yesterday, I did not eat nearly enough!! I woke up early today so hopefully, it will be easier for me to get more calories in. And I have a busy day so I should get more hungry too. I do want to juice more. I don't think juice will have much calories but I do know people that lose alot of weight juicing. I just know it makes me feel a lot better!!

Had a bad weekend. Lots of stress. Little sleep. Bad food choices. Didn't even record it. Trying to start over. I need to at least be able to control my health if nothing else.

I downloaded the calorie counter on my phone so I have mostly been using that to record my food. Unfortunately, that means I might not journal daily. I've had a migraine lately. Other than that, feeling much better emotionally/mentally and getting there physically. I am trying not to weigh in every day. If I don't lose, it's harder to stay on course. And I like to see more of a "drop" on my little graph.
I am doing better on the calories but I think I am eating too late. It's camp week and I went out with friends last night. I automatically ordered burger and fries then said "no!! wait a minute, I'm on a diet" and got a salad instead. EXACTLY met my calorie goal yesterday. I won't feel bad eating late tonight because I have to work and probably won't get to bed until about 6am.
I bought a pedometer. I keep forgetting to put it on to count daily steps. I want to count daily steps but also want to use it to get some long walks/runs in.

woo-hoo. Officially one week on my "diet". Start weight was actually 236.6, not 237 but for some reason the system rounded up. This means in one week, I've lost exactly 4.4 lbs. I've very excited. And that's with Aunt Flo coming to visit so it might've actually been just slightly more. I don't want to lose too fast but when I lost alot of weight last year, I did about 4-5 lbs a week and it stayed off for quite awhile and after I started to "stray".
Lost some more. Feeling some better. Definitely know if I can get at least 1300-1500 calories in, I lose. Actually, the more calories in, with GOOD food, the more I seem to lose. Still haven't added any exercise in, other than cleaning and parking further away from the store and walking faster. But I've always done that. I want to add
intentional
exercise in. Also, I want a pedometer. These next three days will be testing for me. It's family camp and I will get to see friends I rarely see and we always go out to eat afterwards together. Like at 10pm. Even if I can use the calories, don't want to be eating that late. Guess I will stay up later intentionally too, if I eat much. Friday will be the biggest test but since I think I have to work 3rd that night, I will treat the meal like dinner - won't be sleeping for at least 5-6 hrs afterwards! I have alot to get done this week. Thankfully, added the app to my new phone so I don't physically have to get on computer to update. I tend to get distracted and then stay online for too long.
