I thought I was seeing things because there's no way this number could be correct, but I waited an hour and did it again and there it is! I was SO tempted to cheat on my diet last night.. It's hard when you've got friends over who are drinking and eating yummy snacks... but I didn't do it and now I'm super happy I didn't!

On day 3 I was so tired I slept for almost 12 hours! Day 4 was a little better, did 20 jumping jacks + leg lifts (something better than nothing). Now it is Day 5 - feeling exhausted and would REALLY like a soda right about now, but really happy with the number on the scale after a few tough days of keto diet. I know a lot of this is water weight and next week the numbers won't be as kind, but I am going to take the win for this week and as long as the number next week is less than this week I will be happy.

Only day 2 and I'm already struggling. Treated myself to a nice big protein-rich breakfast so I'm not even hungry but I'm still CRAVING FrootLoops. Bread, sugar, milk..pretty much the only three things this diet won't let me touch and already I can't stop thinking about the sweet and crunchy little rings of diet-ruining goodness. Just need to do something else.. stay occupied until I forget all about it...
