I have a problem with following through with my commitments, and weight loss is no exception. I have been battling some severe anxiety and depression and it's taken its toll. Haven't weighed in yet (Wed is my day), but I can feel the gain. I saw another community member who posted about her anxiety and it reminded me that losing weight with this hurdle is possible and I am not alone in this struggle. I say ENOUGH to my emotional eating and ENOUGH to my excuses/justifications. I can lose this weight, it's just hard. NOT impossible.

It was so comforting to track my meals and stay on task yesterday. I munched my way up to 91% RDI and did not feel hungry or deprived at all. My boyfriend suggested a walk around the block after dinner and we decided to make that a nightly ritual. Only 15 minutes of my (somewhat) slow pace, but the quality time was unbeatable and it was nice to get some crisp, fresh air. I'm going out to a Greek restaurant for a friend's bday tonight, so I'm trying to keep my intake low during the day. I know what I want to order so I think I'm going to program my gyro into my tracker and just resolve to not stray from the plan. Also, I changed my Goal Weight from 185 to 240. I see a lot of members taking their weight loss goals in chunks and it seems like a good method. I'll admit that seeing "31 lb to go" is much more motivating that "86 lb to go." I lost 27-30 lbs in 2014, so I know this is feasible for 2015. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Happy Friday, ya'll!
