I've had a very busy week and am working extra. Not as much time for the workouts. I did have a good 4 mile run on Tuesday and a good workout last night. I will run again tomorrow morning. I've been feeling pretty relaxed with my attitude towards eating and it seems to be working well. I am coming back down on the scale.

losing 1.2 lb a week

I ran 4 miles last night and took my almost 11 year old daughter with me. Her furthest distance to run before was a little over a mile. She ran all 4 with me! She is a natural! That is a huge increase to just do. We have a local 5K in the spring she wants to do, so we will let her sign up with us. Now we need to just keep working on speed and endurance.
I put up a healthy muffin recipe on my last journal if anyone wants it. It was good.

I just made these muffins and they are very good. 2 WW points a piece. My kids like them too and they are very healthy:
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk, nonfat
1 tsp cinnamon
1 little packet truvia or splenda
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup applesauce
1 cup grated carrot
2 tsps baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup oat bran (or ground oat bran cereal)
3/4 cup flour
Bake at 375 for 15-20 min.
Makes 12 muffins. 2 WW points each

gaining 0.8 lb a week

I had a really good workout at the gym this morning. About an 1 hr 25 min in all. I did ellipitcal, rowing, a little walking, and some floor work. My husband decided to bike and inspired by The Biggest Loser challenge, he rode a marathon (26.2 miles)on the bike in that time. His calorie burn was at least 750 for that time frame. Mine around 550 probably. It was nice to work hard and not be rushed.
Trying to stay on top of not making an unwise choice for dinner tonight. I don't want to sabotage my efforts and I do want to start out the week in the 130's to lead to a lower number this coming week!
