It’s been super rocky with the diet 😅 a lot has been going on! We were approved for an apartment and are moving on the 1st, so we have a lot to do before then. But I’ve been so focused on everything else that I’ve fallen back into bad dietary habits. Hoping I can clear my mind and buckle down again soon.

Things this week have been really good- except my diet. 😟
We found out we were approved for the apartment we have been wanting and we move November 1st, so we have been very excited about that. Unfortunately, when I’m happy, I tend to overlook what I’m eating. And I’ve been eating so much junk. Are a package of Milano cookies- the whole package- in like 3 days. :( and I started drinking soda again! I really need a reset. But, I’m okay with it right now, because these other wonderful things happening in my life have been keeping me very happy.
I’ve also been cooking more, so even if the calories I take in are more than I technically should, it’s calories from homemade food. Which...isn’t better...but I like to pretend it is. Haha.
All in all, I’m happy, I’m stinking at my diet, but feeling very happy about life.

The husband has agreed to diet with me! And while I know he isn’t taking it as seriously as me, I don’t mind. I’m happy that he’s willing to try! It makes me want to cook, which I have stopped doing in the last few months. It makes me happy to get to enjoy these aspects of life with him. ❤️ He’s such a wonderful support.

Made the most DELICIOUS dinner tonight! Haven’t cooked dinner in a while. I mixed Italian seasoned breading with McCormick’s GrillMates seasoning in the flavor Maple BBQ for the chicken breading, and baked it. Then spinach salad with cherry tomatoes, red onions, pomegranates seeds, and chia seeds (with a few croutons sneaked into it😉). And then a garlic knot for a side.
And for dessert, the rest of that pomegranate!
