A little nervous about weigh in this morning. I started a new job with a 1-2 hour commute from 7:30-5:30 Mon-Fri and it has been hard to get the energy to workout after work. I only worked out 4 days this week, but I did manage to stay on track with my eating for the most part. But, even with all of that I am down 2 more pounds and couldn't be happier...this really gives me the motivation to keep it up and see the end results!

Well, I'm back down 1 pound which is a relief. Now I'm going to aim for 2 pounds a week. I think that is reasonable. The weekend is here so I'm hoping for a good weekend of healthy and happy food choices for all of us! Best of luck everyone!

Well, I haven't posted in a while, mainly because I've had good and bad days and I've chose to make some poor decisions like eating bite size candy bars to curve my chocolate cravings or indulging in birthday cake at a family party. BUT, with that said I'm getting back on track and not killing myself with guilt about bad decisions ALL the time. I'm still working out and making much healthier food choices and portion sizes. I won't be weighing myself for a few more days because I don't want to be disappointed.
I have been craving sushi rolls lately, is this a part of the phase II allowed foods?? I of course would watch the portion sizes and maybe make a nice brown rice with egg whites and vegetables to go along with it.

Well, it's not been a good week for me! I was down 4 pounds and now I've gained 1 pound back. I didn't think I had lost anything but I didn't want to gain anything for sure!! I am going to try to do the detox phase next week. This weekend is going to be VERY hard for me as I am going on a weekend trip for a wedding and some other parties...it doesn't look good for the calorie intake! I feel as though I am just failing myself and this whole diet, I want a change in my life so bad and I feel like my eating lifestyle and habits have changed (With the occasional slip up) and I'm working out 5-6 days a week for at least 1 hour of cardio. I know my lifestyle has changed for the better but the weight just isn't coming off that way I had hoped.
Well, sorry about the ranting! I have to go to the gym and pack for the weekend. I will try to keep my head up and make the best of it! Good luck with the weekend everyone!!
