Hi! I'm Kate. I'm 29 and live in Pennsylvania.

I'm a mom of 2. I enjoy Figure Skating, Photography, and the history of American Psychiatric Facilities (early 1900's) Ok, that last one is a little weird, but it's true. I can become obsessed with any of these. Unfortunately my weight/body image still hog up most of my mind, most of the time.

Hey, cut me some slack! I'm working on it! :)

Milk- Almond, Soy Non-Fat Which is Best?
I really love skim milk. I was Vegan for several years (the first time 13 or so years ago) soy and other type 'milks' have some such a far way since then! I do still like buying soymilk every so often. I was hooked on Light 8th Continent but then started buying Light Original Silk. It's also great to use in recipes that call for milk, especially baked goods since the protein doesn't break down as easily as cow milk when heated. I use Silk Soy Creamer in my coffee. I think I would like Almond milk, if it tastes anything like almonds, because I love them. I would also like to try Coconut milk. All and all I still use Skim milk, highest protein and I just like it! I think go with whatever you like and makes you feel best. If it's lacking in the same nutritional values of another option just make up or it in the rest of your diet.Smile

From anorexic to overweight
I've cycled through Over and Binge Eating, Bulimia, Purging and Restricting Anorexia and back again. I can relate to being stuck longing for your past self, even if it was hellish then. The one thing I've learned is that until you can overcome the reasoning behind what's causing your disordered eating you'll always have issues with it. Don't worry about relapse at this point. Try your best to be healthy and get to a healthy weight. Deal with issues as they arise and you won't have them all waiting for you at the finish line. Good Luck!!Smile
