I feel like I've hit a wall this week. I'm 8 weeks in now and this is honestly longer than I've ever been able to keep up with working out and eating better. I haven't worked out the last two days though, and I promised myself I'd get up and work out this morning, but 4:45 came and went. I stuck one toe out of bed, decided it was too cold, and dove back under the covers, then it's dark when I get off work and all I feel like doing is eating and sleeping. I've been eating everything in sight too. Next week when I get paid I'm going to order a couple of cookbooks I saw on Amazon.com. One is the Biggest Loser on a Budget cookbook and the other is Chef Devin Alexander's Decadent Diet cookbook. I don't really cook much (or at all), now and I think that's part of the reason for my slump, because I'm tired of eating the same darn things over and over. I promised myself that if I could keep up the healthy changes through Christmas, I would reward myself by getting a 90 minute massage, and I really want that gift. Well, I guess there's still 4 days left in this week and plenty of time to reach my goal weight of this week (219.8).

Whew, I got up early this morning and did some step aerobics. I can tell I'm still sick a little bit with the cold because I had to take my step off the riser in order to finish the routine, but I still finished and that's what counts. I only worked out 2 days last week so I'll do a little less than my usual intensity this week and hopefully next week I'll be right back to where I was. :-)
