Decided to alter my approach from today through the end of the year; making it only a 2 1/2 challenge to myself. I'm calling it my Healthy EOY Challenge. Until I can get my overeating under control, I don't want to restrict anything entirely. So here are my healthy stipulations to follow every single day starting today until the end of the year:

*1500 calories only per day --> NO food restrictions
*NO FAST FOOD WHATSOEVER INCLUDING SUBWAY
*Log all food and drinks every single day --> even on the weekends if I have drinks
*1 soda ONLY per week --> Usually only have any on Sundays after a night out
*1 cup/piece of fruit OR 100 calories of nuts allowed after dinner
*Walk for 60 minutes every single day --> EVEN ON WEEKENDS NO EXCEPTIONS!

This may seem like a lot, but I really don't think so. They are very basic rules to follow and there's truly no reason I couldn't complete the 60 minute walk every day since we have a treadmill at home and I watch probably 3 hours of TV a night. Also said treadmill is in our front room where I can see through to the TV anyway so why not walk while I Netflix binge? I think this may provide a better outcome as it gives me structure to follow, but without feeling so overwhelmed by the process here in my beginning. Here's to the next 2 1/2 months!
