Today is Day 1 of officially being more concsious of what I eat, and also the amount of time I give to myself to exercise (rather than studying on all of my down time.) I really am trying to work on spreading myself out to not just the kids and school but also taking care of myself. I realize that losing weight is not really my issue, but maintaing a normal BP and building strength are. I'm also really working hard to become a better long-distance runner. Even if it's not really that long-distance. I'd like to build my endurance up, and to begin to enjoy running outside even if it's cold or rainy. Right now, my goals are to stay sane ( :) ), building up strength and endurance by interval training with bodyrock.tv (if you're interested in melting fat, this is the site to check out! Suzana is AMAZING!)and as well as run at least 2x a week, all while watching what I eat. I really want to lay low on the sugar (maybe even do a no sugar challenge once I get on track!) and to eat more fruits and veggies(for snacks and with small meals to fill up on good calories.) while drinking a lot more water (at least 2 of my big water bottles a day)
I don't feel that any of this will be a big challenge because I've mentally prepared myself for this. I'm ready!

So, I've pre-entered my meal for tonight because I'm going out to dinner. I'm not expecting to eat all of what I've entered but, I figured I'd enter it just because these are the things I'm nusually tempted by. I'm still under RDI, but I'd like to be down at least 500 calories today.

Feeling GREAT! I have cut nearly 500 calories out since starting, and it hasn't be hard, at all! I've eaten what I've wanted in moderation, and have been very aware of what I'm putting into my body. I'm making it a point to work out, even if it's for 20 minutes a day. Definitely will have a routine in place by Monday!
