It was a pretty wasted weekend. Everything just went downhill since Thursday dinner. I think that I was secretly feeling deprived and didn't even have the courage to confront myself. Denial is never a good thing. I was more with the " oh man, I can't eat I can't eat, however much I want to eat, I shouldn't eat" mentality, which was not constructive and it brought too much negative influence on my mind. I will change my habits from changing the way of thinking now " I get to choose what kind of life I want to live, and I get to choose what I want to eat. The food is always there. I have my life time to have it. Always give it ten minutes before I give in to cravings. " I can do this. It shall happen.

It was a rough night. I was getting stressed by my work and was having a bad craving for sweets. I walked by a vending machine and had my card right with me. I ended up getting a diet coke, thankfully. I think that I will cut out carbs for dinner starting from tomorrow and maybe have meat for dinner every other day instead of every day. I got 73g of proteins today, which was definitely more than what I needed. I will substitute dinner with more veggies just so that it would be more fulfilling.

It's the fifth day of our diet and we've done great sticking to our plan. More importantly, I have gained a great sense of control over my life - instead of being dragged by life to wherever it wants to go, I'm more in the position of deciding my own direction. This just feels great. I think to develop good habits is the key to for the diet plan to work in the long run. Give it three weeks and we will do everything more habitually and less attention will be needed to correct ourselves; stomaches won't growl as much, work out won't be as hard and the reading on the scale will drop slowly but steadily. We are in the process of forgetting some of the bad habits that we used to have and embracing a new lifestyle. We can do this, we so have it!
