Well, it's that time of the year again. Where people start thinking of what New Years Resolutions they're gonna make -- and yet again I am finding myself resolving to get back on the wagon with my weight loss.
Now, I haven't gained back everything I've lost -- but I have gained back 10lbs. from my lowest weight so far. And believe me when I tell you, I couldn't be more disappointed with myself. BUT - I am also proud of myself, because it's only 10lbs...and "the old me" would have continued to let it go up (and up, and up, and up...) without batting an eyelash. This time around "the new me" feels the 10lbs and hates that way it feels! So, yes, I am resolving to get back on the wagon and get the scale going in that downward direction again.
I've reset my short term goals, and I am bound and determined to make 2012 the year I lose a total of 100lbs! It's totally do-able - i'm just 60lbs away, and I lost 50lbs in 6 months before! So...i'm kinda hoping I actually lose more, lol, but for now that's the goal!
Nothing is impossible with God's help - and I admit, i've let go of His hand in this area of my life. Probably why i've gained back 10lbs, lol, coincidence? I think not :) But God is good -- and i'm grabbing a hold of His hand again and holding on TIGHT! It's me and You, Jesus -- I can do ALL things through You!!!
