we are working on changing our diet right now. we are eating more vegetables and less fat. weight loss this week was a little lower than I hoped, but I did lose 2 pounds. I will increase my exercise this week.

I tried to weigh myself on the home scale I had about 2 months ago. I kept getting an error. My wife tried the scale and it worked fine. The scale had a 330 pound limit. That was the point I realised I had gained more weight than I thought. I bought a new scale with a 400 pound limit and weighed myself. I was stunned when it read 349 pounds. At that time I started cutting down on what I was eating, and I kept telling myself I had to lose weight. Today is the start of a much more concentrated effort to lose weight. We have a treadmill, stationary bicycle, and as of yesterday a free standing punching bag. I have created a spreadsheet to track my exercises, menus, and stats. I am as focused on losing weight now as I have been at quitting smoking for the last 3 months.

i need to lose weight. I have a desk job and do not get a lot of exercise. I try to keep active but it is hard when sitting in front of a computer all day. I enjoy hiking, hunting, and fishing. My weight is getting to the point that those activities are getting harder to do. I also have a 2 year old, 1 year old, and 11 month old grand child that i need to be able to chase around. the three of them are a handful to keep up with.
