SWF, 34. I'm following a modified SLD plan: 2 Tbl of flax oil (around 11:30 each morning with a 2.5 hour taste-free period on either side of the dose) combined with calorie-counting. The SLD oil has virtually eliminated all my carb binges, but my ability to eat past the point of satiety even with the SLD appetite suppression requires me to count calories (I stay under 1500 cal/day as a weekly average). Unlike my previous attempts at calorie counting however, SLD has made staying within my daily limit very easy and virtually stress-free. Plateaus have also been rare (I had one three week long plateau back in January 2007, but that's been the longest period of no weight loss so far). Even more importantly, I've been able to go off the diet to enjoy eating on a vacation and then get right back on it after my return to the normal daily routine. I've never experienced that level of control with any other diet.
