Week 1 of the challenge = totally unsuccessful. I let my self start to tip of the wagon... and once I saw that happening, I just gave up. NOT OK! I really need to just STOP the late night eating - and cutting back on alcohol would probably help a ton too.
I have 2 weeks left here in the States. Two weeks that WILL be used for healthy eating, good workouts, and really preparing myself for my 4 MONTH stint abroad in Ireland! This marks the first time I'm truly on my own - I will be living in an apartment, miles and miles away from my family, my friends, and my comfort level. Here's to making changes, growing up, finding myself (cliche, yes) and really welcoming my 20s!

1st full day of the challenge! I worked out pretty hard today, so I'm proud of myself for that. My eating habits still are not that good though :( - even if I didn't go over in calories I still did not eat that healthy. One major problem is that I'm home right now & therefore don't have control over what's cooked for dinner - or what's bought at the grocery store.
One mini-challenge I am going to add for myself is NO EATING after 8pm. That's what I snack and binge the worst - when I'm up real late (insomniaa) and are bored. If I make it a challenge hopefully I'll stick to it - and maybe I'll even start getting a decent nights sleep!

Ugh... didn't eat all that bad today but didn't find time to exercise, either. (correction: did not MAKE time to exercise)

athlete
.it is beyond annoying that I am so bad at exercising. I think nothing of running in a 90 minute soccer game! What can I do to make myself motivated enough to exercise HARD each and every day?! The only times I do that is July when I'm under serious pressure to get back in shape for the season... (imagine how great I could be if I kept a base fitness all year and then IMPROVED on it right before the season starts)!
