I'm a 24 year old grad student, married with no kids (yet). I'm just looking to look a little better, and feel a little more comfortable in my bathing suits this summer. I've never really had to sacrifice to maintain weight (yay for being 24), so it's not too hard for me to lose weight if I just try a little. For most of my adult life, I've stayed comfortably at a healthy and thin, but not "bathing suit hot" size 8 (140-155 lbs) at 5'8''. This is my plan for being a hot little wifey this summer:

1. I eat what I want to, but try to keep my calories below 1600
2. train for a 5K (April 25th!)
3. write down everything I eat for at least one month

And that's pretty much it. So here we go...16 more lbs to a bikini body!

If there are any girls out there with a similar goal, let's help each other out!

I have only ever done the phase three part of it, but I would say that that qualifies as Calisthenics (Heavy, eg pushups. I'm not sure how intense phases 1 and 2 are, so I'm not sure about those.

What to do for breakfast when you don't like eggs?
I also do not like eggs, and sometimes have difficulty finding low fat protein. What about turkey? I can't handle protein shakes myself, so I go for a whole wheat english muffin sandwich with some turkey and low fat cheese on it. It wil keep you full, and it's pretty easy to eat in the car! I don't know if there's something you could do instead of the cheese to make it more tasty...maybe some cranberry sauce?

exercise w/ovarian cysts
I would try walking for cardiovascular excercise, and something like Pilates, which will build strength and flexibility gently. You can walk pretty quickly and get your heart rate up, and still not have sudden moves, but build your speed slowly, and listen to your body!

I would also suggest asking your Dr. this question at your next appointment. The person who told you not to do rough exercise is the best person to define what "rough exercise" means to them.
