June 1st to 30th I am being VERY strict. I want to lose 10lbs by my bridal shower/bachelorette parties (July 4th weekend)... My first shower is a lingerie shower! FUN!!! I estimated my size smaller than I am now... so it will be interesting to see what fits! Right now I am between a 12 and 14 depending on the style...for pants... or a medium on top. I guessed a size 10 or medium for the lingerie. I kinda slacked off a bit in May, stopped righting my food down and not as much at the gym...but now i am back on track completely. Day 4. I've been at the gym 3 days in a row. My abs hurt =)

my bestfriend visited for 5 days and we didn't eat too well. Some of it we did.... and I drank a fair bit of alcohol that I am not used to. and I didn;t get enough sleep... so this week I will be "detoxing" and recovering. It was so much fun though =) so truly worth it. We did go to the gym for a long workout and biked and walked several kilometers. I was down to 173 before she showed up... which is AMAZING. anyway, I am back on track now. My pool party bridal shower is the July 4th weekend, so right now THAT is my motivation. I will not have seen my family in 6 months... also I tried on my wedding dress last Friday and it is too big!! needs some serious alterations already. which is good and bad...

I have been emotional and angry for days... long story. today I forced myself to go to the gym and get out all of my frustrations. I did 30 min of vigorous cardio and then 45 min of Bodyflow (yoga/pilates) and then 10 min of meditation and then walked almost 3 km home from the grocery store at a fast pace... I feel so much better. now I am off to bed because my bestfriend is going to be here at 6am... yipee!!! play time for the next 5 days.

I got the dress to fit. the scale is pretty much staying the same so I need to step it up a bit. I did gardening all day yesterday. at least 5 hours of planting, digging, shovelling dirt, weeding. I love having a yard and getting to play outside all day. and its free.
I cannot wait to see everything grow. I planted a veg garden: herbs, lettuce, carrots, radish, onions, sweet pepper, chili pepper, cucumber, zucchini, beans, tomatoes. I also planted dwarf sunflowers, marigolds, candyturf, snapdragons, morning glory climbing vine, daisies. we are also building a concrete planter for everygreen bush and rose bush. I am planting mostly from seeds (other than the bushes and a rosemary plant). our cherry and apple trees are blossoming.
My body is changing in a good way and I LOVE it.

In less than 3 months I am getting married =) so exciting!
Next weekend I am going to a wedding and the dress I bought (a size too small) FITS . I went to Bodyflow 3 days in a row and did some carido and yard work and today the dress zips up!!! YAY. and I still plan to get in another 5 days at the gym before the wedding so it will fit even better. It is not too tight at all but my boobs are kinda squished ;) I have been cooking a lot this week: turkey & veg chili, enchiladas and mexican rice, and chicken tikka masala.... all from scratch.... all for the first time. and all turned out delicious. and they were all low fat/low sodium!
