I'm close to wrapping up my 2 week recovery period before hitting Body Beast and I am READY TO ROCK! Did 25 min on the Lifecycle today, then 30 min of Core Synergistics. Nothing that killed me but definitely got my heart rate up a bit. Feeling better now and really looking forward to hitting the workouts hard.
I'm on my overnight in Anchorage, and Kim and I just got back from an hour long bike ride on Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, which has some pretty amazing scenery. I can see taking a few days vacation in Anchorage to truly experience it.

OK.... now I'm starting to feel the lack of serious exercise. 2 weeks of Recovery has been nice, but I'm starting to feel a lack of energy. I'm sluggish and just run down. I NEED to burn the cobwebs out of my system. It's only 4 more days though so I think I can hold out.
Today was 15 min on the Lifecycle, and HIIT 15 from TurboFire. The workout issue probably has something to do with lunch at 1:30, snack at 5:30, and workout starting at 9:30. Not a good combo.

Feeling a little tired today. Not sure exactly why. It was nice to get outside for a bit though and ride our bicycles for an hour. I'm seriously working toward some outdoor activity every day when I'm home. It'd be a waste to live where the weather is always beautiful and sit inside all day long.

Not sure I'd call my workout today "Recovery." We did a shortened version of the Beach Workout. Only did 3 of the rope climbs (2 double, and 1 long), I think I did all of the dips and pull ups. Mostly it was handstand push ups, and a couple of other things we skipped. I know I still burned a lot, but the shoulder feels good and I'm looking forward to another easier week.
