Well started good yesterday... Son's girlfriend went and got all these sweets. Today I am locking myself in my sewing room. LOL I can't resist sweets. I had a little set back but hopefully recover soon. My exercise starts Monday. I don't exercise as hard as I used to. I am in my 70's and moderate the movements I do. But the weekend is Walmart walking.... Wish me luck. thats me on the right and Sara Lane from the Virginian TV show...

Have been gone a while. We did not have internet so now I am back. I have to seriously knuckle down and challenge my self to lose the weight. still sticking with the low carb 40 grams fat diet. Just need to motivate myself more to move. My Doctor gave me a great idea. LOL grab a cart at Walmart and walk around the store. the neighborhood markets are about 30,000 square feet. The bigger supercenters are anywhere from 200,000 to 250,000 square feet. How do I know??? I used to work for their tech support.

Well day 3 and I am approaching my first goal...Well it is actually became a goal because I get real close and then gain again. 1 lb. will get me to 240 if my body will let me. Today spent the morning cleaning the kitchen after my sons girlfriend cook dinner last night. That took all morning .... Then I started on my cabbage burgers. These are something I learned from my grandmother... The inside is cabbage, onion, pork sausage and hamburger. Then I made a double batch of white bread and rolled out fist full and put some of the cabbage mixture inside and pulled it all up into a bun. I don't do these very often cause it takes a lot of work. I make about 20 and put some in the freezer. I had two for dinner and OMG talk about putting some LBS on your hips!
The history of these are they are a German dish the wives would make these for their husbands to take out in the fields. This was their lunch....
