11 June 2016

Well made it to the doctors office yesterday. When I woke up Friday morning first thing I did was weigh myself. Still at 135 but I wanted to see what difference the doctors scale was. Once I got there their scales weighed me in at 138. I talked to the nurse who told me to go by my scales because they see so many people a day their scales need to be recalibrated. So I will continue to use my own scales....happy dance there. The BIGGEST thing I did while at doctors office was to FINALLY convince him to give me a script for pain meds. I have psoriatic arthritis in my back and hands and have only been taking tylenol for it (so minimal results with it I finally quit taking even that). I can't take ibuprophen and last time he gave me a script for ultram....which btw the pharmacist wouldn't fill because of a severe reaction between the ultram and the prozac I'm on. Anywho the doc took some blood to see how bad (I guess inflammation) is in my body to see how to continue to treat the psoriatic arthritis. I also stopped by the eye doctor to see if I should come back in again, its been six months since my last visit. My vision has worsened considerably (I have cataracts in both eyes) and they said yeah, I need another check. I'm still trying to find SOME kind of medical insurance (I have no income as of yet) and you cant have cataract surgery at all without ANY insurance. My blood pressure was fine, and all in all it was a good visit. I did manage to get refills on all my meds (happy dance again), especially getting more refills on requip, which is for RLS. Just an update here....and I really wanted to them to do a finger sugar stick to see how my sugars are but guess they don't feel the need for that now. Oh well. Everyone have a wonderful weekend.....my plans is to work in my yard, 2 1/2 acres worth all weekend and I LOVE DOING IT! God bless all you wonderful folks on here you are such sweet folks with so much love and encouragement I am reading on here every single day, even when I don't post!
