Having Pneumonia made it tough for me to work out for 4 weeks (I have asthma anyway). Diet has been up and down pretty much daily. I started matcha, magnesium calm, and ashwaganda this week so hopefully those make me less anxious and therefore less depressed. I haven't weighed this much since pregnancy.

Trying to eat Keto really threw off my hormones! So, I'm back on my hormone balancing diet. The idea is to cut out processed food and replace some animal fat and protein with plant sources. And of course eat tons of veggies every day. High fiber intake can also lower estrogen levels, as weight training can increase testosterone. I'm really excited and feeling good about sticking to this plan to feel my best.

Reprogramming myself this year, I hope. I have read so many inspiring posts on here lately, it make me feel like I can really do it, but how? I have realized that the level of energy I'm willing to put into my health & fitness has been completely hinged on ONE thing : APPEARANCE. So when I stopped working [in an industry where I'd see 150+ people every day ], I felt my appearance didn't matter as much. Why work so hard when there's only 1 person seeing me anyway? I've spent many years now obsessing over looks, fashion, makeup, etc. it's a huge part of what I base my sense of identity on. I know I need to be consistent with my fitness routine to maintain my sanity, but that's not enough motivation.
How can I actually make myself do the work when not getting any extra attention for it?
Truly take specific steps to remove this dependence on outside attention for motivation.
