Only 5lbs to go til I hit my goal weight! It's hard to believe that I'm so close. It makes me reflect back on my journey thus far and think: What a fuckin ride!?! I think one of the best parts of this whole journey is hearing from other friends and family how the changes I made to my life and health have inspired and spurred them on to make positive health changes in my life.

Now that I've got this new body, I wanted to really challenge myself to test out it's limits. So, I'm training for a 5k race/obstacle course in May called the Gladiator Rock'n Run. It should be pretty intense, but I'm amped on taking on such a challenge. This race is preparation for a race I'd like to do in September called the Tough Mudder. Tough Mudder is an endurance event that averages 12-15 mi on rugged terrain with crazy obstacles to conquer. There's no time to beat, you just gotta finish. The best part, is that these are team races. I've successfully been able to recruit some friends to run the Gladiator Rock'n Run with me. Team 5k to Poundtown is in full effect!
