I bought new skates! They will be sharpened and ready for pickup tomorrow(Mon).
I can't wait to try them. I've never had "real" skates before. These should last me a very long time. Skating is such good exercise and so much fun. Where I go to skate, they play music I love and a good slow/fast ratio. I hope I can feel comfortable in them quickly.
My legs were tired today so I did 45 min. of upper body and abs with weights. Now my arms are tired!
We didn't get to the theater in time to see Red last night, so we saw Due Date instead. It was funny.
Tomorrow is leaf collection on my street so I better get out there and haul all my bags of leaves out to the curb. That will be a work out! I packed those bags as full and tight as I could, so they are very heavy.
I think I will go for a walk while I'm out there. I've had a pretty lazy day today and an extra hour to be idle! (time change)
Tomorrow I start Bridge to 10K and End the 1st week of Artic Blast.

Great day planned! :D
Did my Run this morning-28 min jog+12 min fast walk. My run felt really good!
Going shopping for another pair of skates. Mine are done! no support left. Well, brand new for $35 -got what I paid for but wasn't sure at the time of purchase that I would use them more than once. :)
My daughter is going with me and then back to my home for the rest of the day and then off to a movie! Red, I think.

I need to start visiting my journal every day instead of once a week because I have joined 2 challenges and I want to keep track of my workouts.
Artic Blast and Bridge to 10k are my challenges.
Artic blast is a fun cardio workout 5X a week.
Bridge to 10k is run/walk to a podcast(increasing run time each week)3X a week.
I also want to make sure I do some weight traning and my Kettlebell workouts too. So the plan is to include my 3 runs as fun workouts--they usually are!
Mon. 1st run + kettlebells
Tues Ice skating + wt training/pilates
Wed. 2nd run + kettlebell workout
Thurs. wt. training upper body & abs.
Fri. Ice skating + kettlebell workout
Sat. 3rd run
Sun. pilates/wt training
So far this week:
Mon. NOTHING
Tues. 1 hour skating + 2 hours yard and house work
Wed. 40 min. run + kettlebells + 10 min. arm +ab.
Thur. 50 min. DVD-Dance off the inches-Fat burning Cardio party
Fri. 1 hour skating + kettlebell workout
Sat---I better run to get ready for the 10k challenge starting Monday.
If I do this and Keep my WOE on track, I will break this 1 lb every 2 weeks I'm stuck on and maybe lose 1 lb. every week. Gotta keep my cals. up too!
Of couse I will be listening to this old body for warnings of over doing it. After all , it's not 57 any more! lol

No loss but so much good gained!
I maintained this week and I am very happy about that. It could have been very sad.
I am So pleased with my physical accomplishments. I finished the C25K challenge and will start the Bridge to 10k next week! WOW!
I completed another challenge today, successfully and started another.
Today I went ice skating for 1 hour, raked and bagged leaves for 1.5 hours and got my car all cleaned inside.
I feel great! :)
