i was thinking earlier today that my problem has never really been with food per say. It is more the quantity of the food I eat and want to eat.

I had a hard day today and was driving by some fast food restraunts and was not tempted in the least. i drove by a few although i had to push lunch back.

I am trying to practice waiting for hunger before i eat. Today was a pretty good day. i love the feeling of satisfaction but not stuffed. it just feels so liberating, so light.

I usually feel so heavy, so full.

My problem is that I want to continue eating. If i am not stuffed i sometimes don't feel like it has been worthwhile, like it is enough.


breakfast --9:00 am 4 oz of OJ
10:00 2 corn tortillas
2 eggs
1/4 c beans
I wasn't hungry when i first woke up. i decided to wait. after taking nomi to school i felt like eating eggs.I was full after 1 but wanted to take a bite out of my other taco.
I decided to save the rest for later.
11:30 remainder of taco, pear
1:00 2 servings of canned soup
1 tortilla--2 oz cheese
4:00 fruit snack, 1 oz string cheese,grapes

6:00 6 in sub from subway, (spicy italian)
chips, apple slices
I wasn't sure if i was still hungry. i definataly wanted to keep eating but was having a hard time figuring it out. I decided to wait and see if I was hungry later. Once thing was for sure, i was not hungy hungry so figured i could wait.

I came home and snacked a little b/c by then i was hungry. I am learning to listen to the hunger pangs in my stomach. That is the indicator i know I can rely one.I start feeling an empty-ness, a real sensation. There are just so many other times I want to keep eating ......
8:00 pear, a few wheat thins, bites of nome's cereal, 1 tortilla, 2 oz chicken


all in all a pretty good day...not stuffed, which is progress.....
