I am so tired of being a fat person. I am going to commit to the Atkins diet, not just induction but to follow the different phases. I weight 236 pounds for my 5:2 frame is way too much! Seems like everything in concentrated on my stomach and my breasts. I am walking and using the Wii fit. to exercise. As I loose pounds I'll be able to add more activities.

I have been following a high protein diet, not really Atkins 100% since I have been eating more than 20 carbs

Slowly I have began exercising more and eating better. I know it won't happen overnight, it will take time, planning and discipline but I will be succesful. Last Friday went out with my husband and had some fried coconut shrimps as apetizer which we both enjoyed very much. I ordered a Greek salad with a light dressing to compensate. Yesterday I gave into temptation and I had dessert, my meal was salad without dressing but I had a piece of pie later on. I do not want to deprive myself because I tried that before and did not work. What I want to do now is just have a treat once in a while and eat healtier and lighter most of the time.
Is not easy.

I did not diet at all. I went the opposite direction and now I am at the heaviest I have ever been. Wow 230 pounds! I can feel it for sure. I'm tired most of the time, out of breath after walking a couple blocks and my clothes feel tight and uncomfortable.
Well, this has to stop. I signed up for an exercise and nutrition program at my local community college, since I am on medication for hipertension I had to get a release from my doctor before I can start.
I went to see my doctor today and he gave the green light to start since I'm healthy to do so.
I began by walking at the park, I walked just for about 15 minutes but that is better than nothing at all.
I also began a low carb diet yesterday. Had some protein and lots of vegetables. Not an specific diet so far but will keep investigating.
