For me, getting started on any new diet is one of the hardest parts. I start and stop many times until I feel I'm in a groove. Truth is, I need to see a substantial 3-4 lb loss in the first week or I feel like its not gonna work. Well, I've lost 2 lbs in 4 days so I feel pretty good. Even tho its probably water weight, its water that definitely didn't need to be there. I am very motivated to lose this time, not only for vanity reasons but for my health, too. I think that much of my chronic pain is due to my weight, I really don't like to admit that but I think its true.

So, here I go again. On start number a hundred gazillion. It doesn't matter how many times we start and stop, as long as we always start again. I am highly conscious of everything i put in my mouth, whereas before, I didn't care or think about it.
