just got back form deployment and the weight stacked on due to limited mobility with a bad back going to chiro to get back put together to try and lose some of hte additional weight gain.

sick all weekend and between chicken noodle soup and saltines, the water weight showed up this morning.

I did my first real session with the personal trainer last night and even though we were doing mostly upper body work, he really kicked my behind on those machines. but he said that he was really impressed with the weight I could push/pull/lift/etc. I may have the hubby take some fit-clothed pictures of me so I can post them next to the scale tracker in my bathroom. as I am trying phase three I am weighing in each morning right after the first potty break to get a 'real' weight. I am going to be really interested to see how the body reacts to the next ten weeks. I'll be more than happy to gain a few pounds as long as the body fat and inches come down.

so I weighed in yesterday with my new weight support group at the AF gym and was down to 201.6! so it wasn't a complete pound, but as we don't get a decimal point, it's close enough for me.
I go in tonight for my first true hour long personal trainer session--we're going to be doing upper body work tonight, so I can only imagine that I am going to be sore tomorrow. I've been boosting my protein intake this week to see if that will help the muscles adapt to the new regemin.
I hope everyone has a great Halloween and doesn't let the gremlins get you with the after holiday candy sales. just say no to half priced candy! or at least stick it in an opaque Tupperware container with a strong lid so you can't see it sitting there in the cupboard laughing at you.

well folks, i bit the bullet last night and shelled out $500 for 20 one-hour personal trainer sessions at the new gym I joined. I did my free hour and really liked what he had me doing so for the next ten weeks I will be working with him on tuesdays and thursdays for an hour each time. he also wants me to do a half hour of cardio every day, so on M-W-F after I do my curves workout, I'll go over to the gym and do my time on the treadmill or bike. Saturdays will be my yoga days and sunday will be low speed long walks on the treadmill. My first official hour will be Tuesday, so I will bring in a tape and my digital camera and do some before measurements and photos.
