Mon. thru Wed. are tough days. The diet is slim pickings all day and the depletion workouts are very difficult. They feel like a standard muscle-building workout but you don't have the same pumps and the muscles still seem flat the next morning. But my weight isn't dropping terribly rapidly which means I am probably burning actual fat instead of muscle. 6-8 weeks from now I guess I will know for sure.

Ran a little high on the calories today. I feel stuffed still. Majority of calories were good ones though. Tomorrow morning i am going with the lean breakfast foods instead of the fun ones. If i am eating more throughout the day and am back on carbs i need to keep it clean. Plus today was an off-day for the gym so i had little off-set for the extra calories. Tomorrow will be a better day...and its leg day at the gym. Always a challenge.

I am going to standard maintenance calories for the rest of the week. Plan is to start UD2 on Monday. It was recommended if dieting to eat at or above maintenance calories (14*BW)to restore glycogen levels before all the depletion and restriction stuff on UD2. So some weight increase will result but i expect to maintain 215-220lbs. The dramatic spike in weight was from a cheat day yesterday. Wasn't a terrible cheat just more carbs than i had all last week in a single meal. Next week should be interesting.
