The gym. The dreaded gym. It is so flipping cold here that I don't even want to walk from my car to the gym. I have been trying to compensate at home, but let's face it - that is a joke. Foodwise things are looking up! Some excess carbs for dinners this week, but I think I can even it out for next weekend.
Huge snow storm tonight. I am sure it will derail any and all progress and lead to eating chips on the couch..... : )

Boy do weekends suck! Ugh! The gym on Saturday stinks. No good machines. No good magazines. New and different people, (I fear change). Add in a beer (one - only one!) and some poor choices and I am feeling all sluggish again. I blame Moe's and its delicious queso dip. Does running up and down stairs to change the CD in my computer, (my iTunes was recently fried), count as a calorie burn?
This week - hold me to it! The gym, moving the bike to the living room (for some mid-evening rides while watching Jersey Shore) and hauling away all the Christmas boxes. I planned out some nice meals for this week so I can go to the gym without worrying about dinner afterwards. The intended and I were invited to a big blow out bash over Valentine's Day. I need to do some work before then so I can have more than 1 beer and not feel the need to run up and down the stairs!
The positive side of the weekend was that I found a HUGE stack of unread Real Simple magazines. No more fighting for something decent to read at the gym.
My goal this week is sweat and drinking more water.
