The power of walking and what it does to you. I'm a very obese pacific islander who loves food and hates exercising. I am at risk with diabetes and heart disease. So far as per my last doctors visit my diabetes is normal, bp is normal and everything else is fine. I need to keep active to lose weight and most importantly, eat healthy and at portion size. It's been 2 months since my diet and exercising and it seems to be going great. I'm very proud of myself and loving myself even more as I lose more weight. I found that food diary helps alot, keeping to the daily 4L water intake (as per my weight), counting calories etc. To keep me motivated I read motivational/inspirational books. So far, I'm still keeping myself busy.
