I am not saying everything is worked out but I am saying I am rising above it and doing what I can control. I have conquered many things on my own this last week. Coming up with my own bike routes at night. Not safe and I fear getting a flat tire but when you rely on others too much they don’t respect you. I had a ride where I finally got to 16mph huge accomplishment because I am typically a 14 no matter what I do. My friend raised my seat and it has been a life safer and a game changer esp for my poor knee cap. Today my friend asked if I could support her during her virtual marathon. Sure I can ride my bike have water Gatorade granola bars. Nope 👎🏾 not even ended up raining cats and dogs. I am new to cleats and riding in general. Skinny tires and rain don’t mix. So I ended up running a marathon without training 😜. The last six were the hardest but I had music the whole way which helped tremendously.

My cycling partner gave me the boot and he knew all the awesome routes. Now I am riding by myself at night I m beyond scared 😱 I have to continue so I can get quicker. Today’s 28 mile ride was good 😌. My legs didn’t hurt at all. Dwayne adjusted my seat and it feels so much better in my knees. My nosy neighbor rides and he spoke to me today. Everyone always tells me to be careful and don’t I know it. I hate the clips or cleats esp going downhill stop. My boot camp class keeps canceling and I don’t think I will renew. It was a good jump start I might go back to Resultz and also golds grit only on Monday though. So this yoga studio is doing free yoga classes until the end of October and this girl responded it’s too late. Well there 14 more classes of course that started other negative comments. I feel that they were not going to do anything any ways so why have an opinion. At least the girl did make a comment. So to shut their traps I committed to two yoga classes this week. The first the background music was really unnecessary as the lady talks over it the entire time. Also the yoga poses were fast moving.

Yesterday I went on a bike trip to the beach 🏖 invited my grumpy riding friend. Always dull at group rides with loads of complaints. We did take waaay too many stops but it was a mixed pace ride 50 miles. God is up to something. Long story semi dating a guy who always brought up this girl s name to maybe get under my skin or to let me know he was desirable to another. I met her on the ride and she is super nice 👍🏾 and to be honest I think she would not really be interested in that guy really. I m dumping the guy and hanging with girl instead haha 😆 we ended up riding together about the same speed ironically. I have to get stronger on my bike I have no power. With the fb challenge I have been doing my squats donkey kicks and bridges which I think are effective. I think I want to get a bike fit and new shoes. I will not be riding today due to the rain and probably catch a Zumba class later.
