I am now 26 years old and have weighed the most I've ever weighed...It's a bit discouraging. I'm not "fat" by any means, but just thicker than most girls I see. I was always very thin as a teenager and in my early 20's, underweight some might say. I feel life changes and not being as active as I used to be may have contributed to this. I also have hypothyroidism, which is a condition I have to have monitored regularly to make sure my metabolism is on track. I have a feeling it's something I need to get checked soon. On top of that, I've always handled losing weight in destructive and unhealthy ways. As a teenager, I had anorexia for years. In my late teens and early 20's, I relied on heavy stimulants and even used hard drugs to remain at the weight I desired. I'm now at the point where I realize not only do these things just work in the short term, but your appetite comes back with a vengeance and your metabolism is all fucked up. I'm here to finally learn to lose weight the healthy way and in a way my metabolism will thank me for.
