No resolutions for me. I find that I only make them to break them. Instead, it's just another day. Another day to get through the trials of making choices between things you want... and things you really ought to have instead.
Trials of dealing with long term injuries that get in the way, of too many obligations, of not enough spine to tell those you love "no" in order to do something for yourself.
I always find that doing things is so much easier when I'm on my own, and as I glare at Mr. Beta's back while he plays video games, I can't help but wonder if he will do his chores today, keep promises, or continue to stubbornly play video games and bend my schedule around his laziness.
And how I can adjust my impatience to deal with him -- and others -- when they enjoy a day off.
I have a lot of short comings that I need to overcome this year, but keeping a resolution will not be one of them. ;)

I remembered to weigh in this morning. I'm quite proud of myself for remembering to weigh in. Now, if the numbers keep going down, I'll know I'm on the right track.
Beyond that, I suddenly started thinking about the issue of loose skin. Normally when someone loses a large amount of weight, they have loose skin here and there. I was wondering, is there a way to prevent it as I lose?

1.) Lose weight gradually.
2.) Eat healthy with a lot of veggies, protein, etc. Don't eat a lot of sugar.
3.) Drink a lot of water.
4.) Hydrate the skin with lotion.
5.) Build muscle as you lose to firm it all up.
Right. I hope tea counts for hydration. ;)
The rest is pretty easy as long as they don't ask me to give up my afternoon tiny piece of chocolate.
