Is on Day 2 of Fat Smash Diet! I cooked alot the past two days enough for a couple of weeks! Thanks to the hubby for helping and doing the dishes! I cooked lentils, cabbage, eggplant stew, vegetarian spaghetti w/tofu pasta and yam fries! I also made yogurt parfaits with yogurt and fresh blueberries and blackberries. Im eating every 2 hours but it's good stuff so I feel great and dont feel deprived. Now to get back to my workouts!

Well I took a 3 and a half month much needed break. I gained back about 9 pounds which isn't too bad considering I lost 50 and Thanksgiving and Christmas just passed. I'm ready to get down to my goal weight this year. It was hard losing 50 pounds in 9 months last year but I did it. This year's challenge is losing 30 and learning how to maintain for life. Maintenance is the biggest challenge but I'm ready to learn. I'm back!

I've been MIA for too long. After losing 50 pounds I got all relaxed! I didn't gain it all back Thank God! But I do have 30 pounds I want to shave off for 2010! I lost 50 in 2009 and kept most of it off. Now for 2010 let's get 30 off and then maintenance mode for life! Of course I'm doing this the healthy way and it will be just in time for my 15th high school class reunion! I need that motivation!

I don't get it but I think I do. I CAN FIT INTO MY WEDDING DRESS WITH NO REINFORCEMENTS! ON MY WEDDING DAY I HAD ALL KIND OF STUFF TO NIP AND TUCK! But get this, I weigh more now than I did then but I"m smaller. I guess muscle does weigh more than fat. I'm tracking the wrong metric. I should be tracking inches and not weight cause it's obviously misleading. I thought I needed to lose 15 more pounds to get in it with reinforcements but I actually fit it, no sucking in or nothing.
I don't know what to do now. Should I stop shooting for a number on the scale and go for my goal waist and hip measurements? I think so,
fatsecret can you add this metric for those who are pumping iron and need to see progress?

This is Day 2 of fat smash and bootcamp. On Day one I did not follow diet 100%. I cheated with some brownies but I worked out hard yesterday and lost 0.8 lbs. So now that the brownies are out of my system I am ready to do right. LOL! I will extend phase 1 to 10 days instead of 9! Prayerfully I can lose 10 pounds like last time! Workouts have been great this week. The weather in the desert is perfect for working out outdoors. I'm loving it. Sunday mornings will be my weekly goal checkin weighins (say that really fast)
This Sunday morning goal weight is 150
Next Sunday morning goal weight is 145
