Well, today was pretty horrible. Specifically this morning. I got up early, was in a good mood, made breakfast for my partner and I. But still went to Dunkin Donuts and got a second breakfast and without even thinking, got 10 munchkins and completely ate 700 calories without even thinking. Then, someone at work brought in homemade cookies and I had probably 6 of them.
When going to the hot buffet for lunch, I did okay. But just when I always think that I will never lose weight and I feel defeated, I get a message from my personal trainer with details for my exercise routine. Its just one of those signs when it makes you think. Maybe this IS the reason why I should do this. I don't want to let anyone down. especially myself.

Well....it wouldn't be a day without my two breakfasts that add up to over 1,000 calories alone.
Today is Valentine's Day which apparently means today that there are so many donuts in the office. I am such a sucker for sweets and I give in way too easy. For the rest of the day, I am going to attempt to walk the long way around the office so I do not have to look or smell the donuts.
God, Why do donuts have to be so amazing? Why couldn't I be addicted to kale?

I am finding that I have a typical morning routine that I need to seriously break. After I make breakfast for Jaime and myself, about 5:45am, I get into the city around 8:30 and I am hungry again. So I get a second breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. So I spend $10 every morning that I don't need to and eat an extra 700 calories a day. I think that I am going to start doing is exiting the subway from a different exit and walk a different route so I can avoid the DD and just go straight into work. Hopefully this will help. I will start tomorrow.

Today I stuck to my normal overeating routine. I make breakfast, I get a second breakfast on my way to work. I eat snacks at my desk before that before lunch. I usually eat a healthy lunch because I work in a hospital. I will probably have more snacks before I leave for work. Then I will go home and eat a relatively healthy dinner and have some sort of dessert before bed. This is my every day routine.
As I am recording everything I eat, I can actually see where I do over eat and where I can make these adjustments.
