My journey so far
Started my journey October 1 2017 and have learned many many things.First and foremost weight loss is not linear and the scale does not really prove anything except its a tool.My hopes in writing this is to inspire others on their path.

October 2017 I knew I needed to do something but what was the question. My dad ran across something online called Bio X4 with the main ingredient called carilluma fimbriata and some other things.I think I remember taking like 1 capsule or 2 a day and really curbed my appetite very well. From the start I really dont know what I weighed but it was far more than I ever had weighed and I didnt want to know.

December 1 2017 I weighed 264 and had not done any physical activity at all just taking the BIO X4 with an estimated weight loss of about 65lbs coming off very easy.On the 17th I decided to start gym at planet fitness and weighed approx 240 by then and really feeling great.

This was the start of alot of learning and I still am.At this point I was doing alot of cardio and very little weight training and not much was happening and I continued this until about march 1st only losing 2 extra pounds. After a little reseach like alot of people I found dr berg and thomas delauer on you tube so I did keto and low calories from march 1st or so until june. Eating 1200 calories sometimes less lots of cardio minimal weights and after 3-4 months of basically a flat line and at 230lbs starving myself I knew something was not right and there had to be a better way than this.

The end of may more research online and I found reverse diet.I swithced from cardio to weights NO MORE CARDIO AT ALL NOW.I started my reverse diet on june 27th at 1600cal thats up 400 from my keto diet.I was very skeptical at first and didnt want to gain weight back but once you understand why you might need to do this it will all make sense to you.Basically it is metabolic adaptatation and doing lots of cardio is just making your body use calories very efficiently to say the least.

October 15th I am now up to 2400 cal 277g carbs 169g protein 66g fat and have revered for 111 days and have lost 10 lbs thats right actually lost by adding more food. Not only that I need to talk about body recomposition , by lifting weights adding muscle alot has changed.

I am now in maintenance until the middle of january and in a calorie surplus just a little doing nothing but lifting weights , nothing really heavy just get the pump and squeeze the muscle and make it burn and your doing it right.

If there is 1 thing I would like to tell someone who is overweight is that it takes time , be patient, I know we all want it gone fast but if your really over weight any diet you do you will lose weight.Go into a calorie deficit gradually like 200 cal a week or something , dont go all the way to 1200 or whatever.Get OFF the cardio machines there making you stay fat , just lift weights. When I go to the gym I always see all the overweight people doing cardio and all the thinner people lifting weights there is a reason for it.Now this isnt a sales pitch and I dont work for them but I use this in my routine now and its avatar nutrition it takes all the guess work out of it for you.My goal was to hit 200lbs within a year from my start and im 19lbs shy of it but thats ok on my next cut in january who knows where ill end up.
