hi everyone,
have you ever had a day when you felt good about yourself and all it takes is someone mean to mess up your thinking about yourself? well it happened to me today, its hot here, over 30 degrees in christchurch nz. i decided to wear my shorts which i think look ok, a little celulite but nothing major, I go to the supermarket to get some food , as im down the isle for cold foods, i walk past these two younge girls and stopped to get something, i hear one go, oh God and giggling and i turned around and they were looking at me, i was so tempted to say, look in the mirror your not so hot yourself and of course you never say anything if that happens, maybe they think someone over 40 shouldnt wear shorts, lol. i have no idea, but then i got home and thought, NO, ive put in so much hard work to lose a couple of kg, ive got 7 or 8 to go and im not letting those little b*****s get me down. I just understand, many younger people think when your older like me, in my 40s that i dont have feelings or something, well they were both overweight was what shocked me and needed to lose more than i do lol. thats my rant for today

i got on the scales and yes, ive lost some weight, thank God, and its making me feel better :)

i am trying to cut down on carbs, instead of porridge and fruit this morning i had some chicken. for lunch i had salmon fillet and coleslaw, im not hungry so im trying to cut out any bread, pasta and rice and see what happens!not going fully atkins lol. just eating more protein and fat, less carbs after doing some research about carbs, worked out feeling tired but relsxed

hi everyone.
ive been at the gym nearly every day, watching everything i eat and still scales arnt changed but not letting it get me down, my clothes are loser, i can see the difference in my face, less full and more toned body. so i dont know why im not weighing less, maybe im not eating enough! ive cut down on carbs, even fruit and drinking more water as i read that helps flush out and help with weight loss, hopefully in another week i can report a loss , staying committed

today i felt tired mostly so no gym, but did some excercises at home with hand weights and some floor excerises, when the weather changes from hot to cold, which it does here a lot it mucks around with my energy somehow. i wasnt that hungry today, just thirsty and craved some fresh pineapple,hope the scales show my efforts soon lol
