My trainer is out to kill me. I've decided.

He gave me a free personal training session yesterday, it was supposed to be a half hour, it was closer to an hour. And he kicked my ass. I really like TRX, and he trained me on how to use kettlebells. Which has now made my entire body hurt.

My trainer told me that I'm not eating enough, so even though I'm working out, I'm not burning fat. I didn't believe him. But I am always trying to drop a couple pounds, (or 30!), so I tried out what he told me. I should have protein after I work out, so I got a protein shake at the gym. And lo and behold, I dropped two pounds, almost back to where I was before I drank all of the booze on Saturday night. So now I am going to try to get my protein and calories up. Just to see what happens.

In other news, I really don't have any other news. LOL I am taking the night off from the gym to repair my muscles. And then back tomorrow night. It'll be another hour and a half night at the gym, and I don't care how much my muscles hurt, I need to power through. And I will. I will power through.

That's all. Have a good day everyone!! Work hard and eat right!

So, I went really hard at the gym last night. I was there for about an hour and a half. I did my entire routine. This is the routine that my trainer gave me:

1. Warm-Up Stretching
2. Foam Roll Bridges
3. Planks
a. 3 regular planks
b. 3 forearm planks
c. 10 walking planks

Then my real routine starts

1. Four sets of 15, of exercise ball squats with 22.5lbs hand weight.
2. Four sets of 15, of chest press (40 lbs)
3. Four sets of 15, of low row (40 lbs)
4. Four sets of 15, of high shoulder presses (15 lbs)
5. Four sets of 15, of open up V's with 10lbs core ball.

Then my cardio routine starts:

1. 10 minutes of the elliptical
2. 10 minutes of the treadmill (walking for 1 minute, running for 2 minutes)
3. 15 minutes of the stairmaster.

So that, altogether was about 90 minutes. My back is in a little bit of pain today, but not as bad as it was Saturday morning after I did for the first time. But I saw NO drop this morning (alright, .3 lbs, but really?). I am just pissed. I am doing all of the right things. I am eating the right foods. I am trying to replenish my body. I might have to break down and start making protein shakes. I don't mind them, at all, I don't think they are gross, but I'm nervous about adding the extra calories. I need to find a way to add protein to repair my muscles without adding too many calories. Maybe I will try a regular protein shake, and see what it does to my weight tomorrow morning.

So, in the meantime, I will just wallow in my failure from yesterday to today. I was hoping for a bit more of a loss from yesterday to today, but I guess my indiscretion over the weekend really did me in, and I will have to pay for it longer than I wanted to.

Anyway, I have my personal training tonight, which I'm sure that I am going to get my ass kicked. That's fine. I am okay with getting my ass kicked. I deserve it. I know he said that he was going to have me doing kettlebell training, so I'm going to hurt tomorrow, and I hope I do a lot of TRX. Those are my favorite kind of exercises. I love the resistance training.

Oh well, we will see what is in store for me. I feel like ordering something for lunch today. Nothing terrible, just something, different. I am getting sick and tired of my whole wheat wraps, and I'm thinking about seeing what adding some extra calories will do to my weight. Nothing out of control, still within the 1000-1200 range, but just seeing.

Oh well, I've rambled long enough. Hope everyone is feeling better than I am, I'll snap out of it, I'm sure, once I see a drop in the scale. That ALWAYS makes me feel better, LOL :)
