I hope all of you in the US had a happy 4th of July! I did not overeat. I went to a singing group in the evening instead of watching the fireworks show.
(Individual fireworks were banned here due to wildfire danger).
These red white and blue flowers (Indian paintbrush, cat's ears, and larkspur) are from my hike to Cone Peak wildflower meadows in Oregon's Cascade Mountains.

So grateful it has finally cooled off enough to hike, at least early in the morning.
We had 10 days of horrendous heat, including breaking the all time record for hottest temperature in our city (108 degrees F)
Early morning hike at Shevlin Park, along Tumalo Creek in Central Oregon

I'm grateful that I lost about a pound and a half. I've been following my eating and exercise plan, progress is slow ... but I am VERY grateful so see even a small loss.
We are in the middle of a roasting hot heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest, so I will be mostly exercising indoors (or taking short early morning fast walks) until the heat wave breaks.
Weigh-in:
198.6 lb
lost so far:
1.4 lb
still to go:
33.6 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

I'm continuing to eat healthy, within my WW points, and exercise. Weight is SLOWLY creeping down.
Yesterday I hiked a challenging (to me) trail, Bugaboo Ridge in the Central Oregon Cascades. Loved the mountain views, the wildflowers, and masses of rhododendrons.
