Great weekend......for fun, not so much great on diet. According to the scales this morning I did not gain any weight but I certainly feel the salt intake. Will work on that. Getting ready to go to the Y. Modified Yoga at 8 and will make a point to get to class with Eric one morning at 10 especially since I can't get to see him Friday.
Well, I'm already off my goal for weekly weight loss. Beginning a new week and feel ready to move a little more and watch very carefully my food and alcohol intake. Busy work week and seminar on Friday. Should be a great week and I'm ready for it!

Had a good workout this morning at the Y. I always feel better after I get there and work out if even for just a little.
A couple of people were talking about Carb Blockers. I've never heard of them but the one guy stated his girlfriends take them and say they really work. They want to eat/drink and when taking these pills are still able to lose weight or do not gain weight. Any thoughts?
Food intake has been pretty good and not been too hungry. My problem lies when I start getting hungry and seems that only certain foods help with the cravings-----and not the good foods I should be consuming.
Though I did try for the first time Greek Yogurt..........and it was delicious! No fat, but plenty of calories, carbs/surgar. I'll spread the 5oz. out as long as I can today. It's like eating a creamy dessert! Yummmm...!

Okay, I can do this! My mind set feels right and I want to get this weight off. I feel miserable, my clothes are tight, if I can even get them on. I want to feel good again. Can't believe I have let myself get to this point...again. If I put on 5 pounds it was easy to get off, now I have put on 20 pounds it will be much more difficult BUT I CAN DO IT!!
I think my weight loss goal of approximately 2 pounds per week is okay. Some weeks may be less but some weeks may be a little more.
Have to get back into the habit of logging all food intake and exercise. Also, preparing meals ahead of time so when I come in I can just heat and eat, not hunt and snack.
How does the South Beach or Atkins diet work? Maybe I could try a modified version just to boost my initial weight loss the first week or two.
