Well today was a good day for a first day diet. Used the nutria ninja for the first time for a pineapple smoothie for lunch...delicious. Found the acai smoothie at SPROUTS can't wait to try. Almost 9pm and time for my first hurdle, nighttime snacking on junk. No candy, no chips in house!!!!
Need to readjust my RDI, too many carbs, not enough protein, oh well will figure out how to make those adjustments tomorrow.

Lunch was good, breakfast even better. Since I'm not used to eating breakfast, tried a different approach with dinner food for breakfast. It worked. Had my smoothie for lunch and the snack and I am full and satisfied. Salmon again tomorrow for breakfast.

It has been over 2 years since my last weigh and journal entry. Today, I am reaffirming my goals:
(1) an average loss of 1 pound per week.
(2) physical activity and exercise 5 days a week

Today I am having dinner with friends. It is the last time I will eat burgers and fries for a while. Tomorrow starts a new journey of hope, exercise and freedom from restraints of depression.
