I am currently on the South Beach diet for a 3 month membership. I started on 4 Aug and I was originally 178 pounds. Now I am 162 and want to continue losing at a slow to moderate rate. I had knee surgery 28 July 11, which caused me to gain a lot of weight and on top of that I did not change my eating habits. My goal is to continue eating more proteins, fruits and veggies and less starches and bad fats..

I had a conversation on FB with an inspirational man, Fritz! He recommended this website to me and said he would continue to assist me. I am going to cut out bad carbs and since I was given a clean bill of health today to resume my cardio, I am going to be working out!
