Just by eliminating wheat, dairy, trans fats, and sugar from my diet, I have been slowly losing weight. I haven't been limiting the quantity of food as in no weighing or measuring. I've just been emphasizing lots of low-glycemic fruits, vegetables, - and high quality protein like eggs, chicken, and fish. No junk food. No processed food. No caffeine. My exercise levels have been moderate as in talking my dog for a walk everyday, doing yard work, and visiting the gym about twice a week. I am never left feeling hungry or deprived. And I feel pretty good. And most importantly, I have been slowly loosing weight. It all boils down to eating healthy and exercising.

Plain and simple: I want to lose weight, exercise, eat more nutritious food, and be healthier in general.
I turned to this website in search of a place where I could find social support and structure for my efforts. So much of what I have read and learned lately points toward the human necessity for social support. Maybe I will find it here.
