Hard working Grandpa who has been married for 30 plus years. Have been on diets before with moderate results. This is the first time I have seriously taken diet and exercise to the level I need to achieve my goal. Would like to reach 185 lbs and build lean muscle. This would be the ideal weight for me, plus my BMI should be much more in line than previous years. Some things that work for me are Counting calories with Fatsecret,cut out all (99%) of all Soda, Liquor, Beer, basically only water to drink, about 1 gallon a day. Exercise 6 days a week (treadmill, eclipticle, Bike- at least 20 minutes. Counting steps, since I am at a computer most of the time at work, I like to walk at least 1 hour a day total. Since I have started this journey, my wife who is all of 105 lbs soaking wet has joined in adopting a healthier life style and making good food choices and that helps a lot.
