Woke Up this morning feeling good.
My Blood Sugar this morning was 116.
My Blood Sugar Before Supper was 123. A little Higher than I wanted.
Today I went and drove to several places. I went to Target and looked at Exercise Equipment and also to Dick's Sporting Goods to look there and got prices. I have been wanting to purchase a bike to ride so I went to the local bike store to look around and get prices. I found a bike I liked and I hope to put it on Layaway when I get paid! I'm VERY Excited about it. I did do Chair Exercises today and walked a lot while I was out. I hope tomorrow to get in a 30 min walk or maybe an hour depending on the weather. Will also continue with Chair Exercises. Feeling good! :D

I am Diabetic and have found that counting my carbs has helped more than counting my calories. I eat 180 grams of carbs a day and that is all I allow myself. I no longer drink cokes of any kind. I eat regular sugar but in strict moderation. I take my blood sugar 2 to 3 times a day normally in the morning upon first waking, after a 3 to 4 hour waiting period after lunch and then right before bed. I also keep a strict food, exercise and blood sugar log. I try to get outside and walk during the day but due to some knee problems sometime it is difficult. I still try though. I am looking into purchasing a bike to ride for exercise and am really wanting to loose wait and be more active and healthy. I also stay within portion sizes and follow the food pyramid. I have basically changed how I eat. I feel better and am happier.
