Had VSG on 8/8/2016...in total I have lost 53+ lbs since April 2016. I am using iMetabolic and will see my surgeon and his staff for lifetime follow up. I need to focus on protein first, veges second and carbs third and very last if at all. They removed 80-90% of my stomach and it only holds 4 oz at a time. It is already lifechanging and I am feeling a great deal better. I won't be on here much as I use FitBit more. Hope all of you are doing well with your goals!

Triglycerides are 500 but total cholesterol is 220. Good cholesterol is only 35 but I have been eating a lot of "good" fats. Still dealing with C. Diff, a sinus infection and viruses so feeling pretty rotten and exhausted. Not starting the induction as not eating a whole lot but making better choices.

Can tell that I have lost weight but no scale. Resting a lot but took the Pugs and my Shih Tzu Tiki and John, our Leonberger/Saint Bernard/Shepherd mix for a walk with mom today. I am sporadic on journal entries but I see all the postings and send my support to everyone! Kinda blew it with pasta and gravy and Kit Kats but I know it will happen. Just focusing on making better choices even though I may slip from time to time. I refuse to be completely deprived of everything....I did have two ales last night but that was the first time in months!

No scale right now so I will wait until I see the doc. On another course of Vancomycin on a tapering regimen for 6 weeks for the C. Diff. I am also really questioning the number of calories per day...this site says 1800 but that seems too high with not exercising...any thoughts?

Went way overboard with sunflower seeds but did well otherwise....should I be freaked more by total calories or just be worried about carbs and sugars?
